LUFTPAUSE
Luftpause is a compact urban installation designed to offer a serene pause within the fast pace of city life. Centered around a colorful circular pod, the structure invites meditation, reflection, or quiet sitting. The ring’s layered pastel and jewel-toned bands symbolize harmony and continuity, while a whimsical cluster of balloons appears to lift the form evoking a feeling of lightness and escape.
Set against a grayscale city backdrop, the installation creates a striking contrast between the calm it offers and the energy of its surroundings. A minimal bench extends from the ring, inviting passers by to engage with the space informally.
More than just an object, Luftpause becomes a visual and emotional landmark a gentle reminder to breathe, pause, and reconnect. It transforms a simple public space into a poetic moment of stillness, floating between fantasy and function in the everyday urban landscape.
